The Old Stone House had been abandoned, and looted for stone, as seen in the photo above. The entire gable end of the stone constructed house had collapsed. Cassella Construction was hired to re-construct the gable end wall to match the original construction. We began with a cleanup and collection of the stone. With excavation complete, a re-enforced concrete footing was then poured. This was followed by beginning to set the many tons of stone to reach the gable elevation. As seen in the above photo, view of gable stone wall.
