The ravages of Hurricane Irene had taken its toll on the Wytauck residence built in the shadows of the mountain in the mid fifties. One foundation was totally collapsed and the wall to the mountain bulging menacingly. Jacking and shoring of the structure stabilized the structure for restoration work. A new re-enforced concrete footing was poured, and new re-enforced concrete block walls were laid, bringing the structure to new structural integrity. As seen in the photo above, structure re-established.
